Rorian was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil in 1956. He is a brasilian expressionist who searches inspiration on human s expressions. Started his artworks in august 2009 after strong life experience. Rorian's artworks can be considered as "paintings with graphite", a mixed technique involving the utilization of pencils and the use of cotton brushes, tools created by the artist which literally enables the painting with graphite. The human face is the main conduction line of Rorian's artworks but the author explores, among others, the field of political manifests like: "armagedon", "faces among shadows" and "srebrenica". Sequential artworks can be found among the artist s paintings like: "madre teresa 1,2,3" - "marquesas 1,2,3" - "jeremy irons 1,2,3" - "baby 1,2,3,4" etc.
